In Argentina, the abandonment of narratological models inspired by linguistic structuralism, produced the adoption of traditional literary procedures. The narration is in first place in the preferences of the Argentine critics. This paper examines the recent work of several authors, Josefina Ludmer, Nicholas Rosa, Beatriz Sarlo and Horacio Gonzalez. This seduction by the constructive power of the stories is present also in the political, apparently divided into two irreconcilable factions.
