SMEARED CRACK ANALYSIS FOR FRACTURE AND AGGREGATE INTERLOCK IN CONCRETE

摘要
An incremental-iterative procedure for the nonlinear finite element analysis of reinforced concrete structures is presented here. Solid concrete is modeled as a hypoelastic material, whilst cracked concrete (including fracture and aggregate interlock) is modeled with crack bands, according to the smeared crack approach. After a brief discussion on the numerical problems regarding the stability and accuracy of the solution, the proposed approach is applied to a few structural examples. © 1990.
