摘要
In the treatment of longitudinal data, a commonly used technique consists in introducing a two-stage estimation to take into account a possible common structure to all the curves. In the non-parametric framework, two-stage models existing in the literature need the assumption of balanced data set. The aim of this paper is to present a two-way kernel procedure that works for unbalanced data. A real geophysical example is treated.
