摘要
A nonlinear interaction of the quasi-stationary electron beam with a dense gas is considered in the terms of a simplified model which enables one to obtain the analytical estimates. A representation of a limit beam propagation length in gas defined as a distance as which a fixed energy density is transported forms a basis of the model. A dynamics of the gas scattering from the beam heated channel is discussed. The propagation length is VS electron beam characteristics is analysed.
