摘要：

The relations between Fatimids and Sicily and Southern Italy had started by the destroying of the Aghlabids. Fatimids had invaded the shipyards and navies established by the Aghlabids at first, and then had captured some Mediterranean cities and islands such as Calabria, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, Balearic, Genoa by their own navies. This study tries to depict the struggle between Byzantine and Fatimids on Southern Italy and Sicily after Fatimids' moving to Egypt. Also, it focuses on interactions and the relations among Fatimids, Sicily and city states of Southern Italy in the light of regarding literature.
