Cider and sociability in Asturias during Franco's regime

摘要
After the Civil War the cider industry, which was in full growth, would know significant transformations; although during the immediate postwar period it would maintain a good part of its essential characteristics. The phenomenon can be explained by the strong implementation of the product and that it was the only drink that could be accessed. Paradoxically, the improvement of the economic situation would not mean a growth for the sector and the manufacture of cider will suffer adverse situations. The transformation of the leisure practices will mark its most critical phase at the end of the sixties and early seventies, resurging strongly later.
