摘要
A new systematic method is developed for the numerical solution of a wide class of frequency-domain electromagnetic source problems. It employs a configurational filtering and sampling procedure that is applied to the electromagnetic field representations. The original, continuous field problem is replaced by its discretized counterpart in a straightforward manner. The resulting linear algebraic problem is solved numerically. Three elementary spectral-domain filters are investigated in detail, viz. the unit-step spherical filter, the cosine-squared spherical filter and the Bessel spherical filter. An estimate of a global integrated square error in the filtered field solution is given for the unit-step spherical filter. Numerical results are obtained for the radiation by three-dimensional electric and magnetic-current sources. © 1990 VSP.
