摘要：
Landscape architecture at Edinburgh College of Art/Heriot Watt University, Scotland, is a balancing act between professional training and academic education, between visual art and applied science, between regional planning and detail design, between a well established undergraduate and a newly developed Masters programme. Within this wide ranging field the course concentrates on studio-based design education. Students are trained to develop both their analytical and creative skills in order to learn where to draw the line: the line of their own personal development as a professional landscape architect.
