摘要
The effects of temperature and strain rate on dislocation glide at constant structure in nickel and nickel alloys are summarized in terms of their dependence on structure, making expanded use of a diagram introduced by Haasen. New results on the temperature and strain-rate dependence of the rate of strain hardening in pure nickel polycrystals are presented and analyzed in terms of thermally activated dynamic recovery, as also introduced by Haasen; in place of the starting stress for stage III strain hardening, a general scaling stress has been proposed.
