摘要：
Acute inhalation toxicity were carried out in rats by exposing to different concentrations of methylamine vapours. LC50 was found to be 0.448 ml/l. Serum enzyme activities of GOT, GPT, LDH and alkaline phosphatase were not significantly different in the animals exposed upto 0.3 ml/l nor methyalamine residues were detected in muscles. A significant increase in the lipid peroxidation values of lungs was observed indicating its toxic effect on the target organ.
