摘要：
In the context of metric-independent sigma models, a generalization of the Bateman equation is proposed. This generalized equation corresponds to a field that is homogeneous of weight m with respect to its derivatives. An intermediate integral of the equation is given. An equation, valid for a non-homogeneous field, is also established.
