摘要：
There is presented the scope of studies on the synthesis and application of non-ionic surfactants, which have been carried out in the Institute of Heavy Organic Synthesis "Blachownia" in Kedzielzyn-Kozle. The Institute's achievements are characterized and plans as well as research methods, which are being applied, are discussed. There are also presented some results of works on the synthesis and properties of products of oxyethylenation of fatty alcohols of narrow homologues distribution.
