PERCEPTION OF CARE OF NURSING STUDENTS IN THE TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCESS

摘要
Care is the essence of the nursing profession, which is essential in forming a clear perception of the act of caring and its implications. This is why the way the students receive and, elaboraren and interpret information from their environment, it is essential to ensure effective performance of graduates to the preservation of life through care. In this regard, the following article is presented with an outline of the most important ideas of the research entitled Perception of nursing care developed in the students of VIII semester program of Nursing Centroccidental University "Lisandro Alvarado" during the teaching learning process 2013. The specific objectives are to identify the perception of care as complex activity, such as technical-procedural activity as activity performance in implementing the nursing process. Using the paradigmatic posture quantitative descriptive, in a sample of 45 students of VIII semester, who were applied a questionnaire type instrument, in relation to each of the dimensions of the variable under study, whose results showed that during the teaching and learning process, these students take care perception as a complex activity in the development of the nursing process. The results of this study highlighted that most students demonstrate integration of cognitive processes to perceive the care required in each patient using the nursing process.
