摘要
:
A self-tuning power system stabilizer based on an acceleration signal is presented. Such a signal removes the necessity of a washout term, which is needed if a signal based on speed or electrical power is employed, thereby overcoming the associated problems of estimation in a self-tuning stabilizer. In addition, a stabilizer based on an acceleration signal eliminates the problems that exist when an electrical power signal is employed on a generator having fast governing. The acceleration signal is approximated by the speed difference between successive samples and simulation studies are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed self-tuning stabilizer, which employs a bang-bang pole shifting strategy following various types of system disturbance. © 1990 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
