The incidence of HPV lesions of the lower feminine genital side: our record of cases

HPV infection represents nowadays one of the most sexual-transmitted diseases diffused in the world. This may be due to the more liberal sexual customs and greater attention of early diagnosis, hence diffusing it through colposcopy. Today, two classes of HPV are distinguished: low and high oncogenic risk. The infection can manifest in three various ways: Clinical, Subclinical, and Latent. In our study, we have proven that: the age range from 31 to 40 mainly represented HPV infection. Finally, we have identified some factors often associated to HPV lesions, such as : initiation of sexual intercourse at a young age, Candida infection of the vagina, Trichomonas, E/P, use of IUD and HIV infection.
