摘要：

This article is product of a research work that was developed between 2006 and 2009 in the city of Cordoba, Argentina. One of its main objectives was to analyze the representations of gender norms in men and women, and relate them with the interviewed social agents' objective conditions of existence. In this paper we show articulations between social representations and objective conditions- specifically those related to possession/dispossession of economic and cultural capital- stressing the resistance of traditional representations related to gender norms.
