SYNERGISTIC EXTRACTION OF EUROPIUM WITH DIDODECYLMONOTHIOPHOSPHORIC ACID AND 1,10-PHENANTHROLINE

摘要
Extraction equilibrium of europium from acetate media with didodecylmonothiophosphoric acid (HR) and 1,10-phenanthroline (PHEN) in toluene diluent was measured at 303K. The equilibrium equation of this synergistic extraction system was found to be written as follows. Eu3+ aq + 3 HR(org) + PHEN(org) half arrow right over half arrow left EuR3.PHEN(org) + 3 H+ aq The extraction equilibrium constant, K(ex, syn) = (2.0 +/- 0.3) x 10(2) m3/mol was obtained according to this equation.
