Social interaction skills in educational contexts. A systematic review

Social interaction is a fundamental aspect in learning process, which in turn constitutes a process of association between actors, which leads to use of rules and exchange dynamics. The objective of this research was to carry out a review of literature on research published in Scopus, Web of Sciences and Scielo databases, where social interaction skills in educational contexts were studied, in period 2016-2023. Methodology used was systematic review of scientific literature related to social interaction skills in educational contexts in Scopus, Web of Sciences and Scielo databases. Prisma guide was applied for selection of studies and Strobe to evaluate editorial and methodological quality. In initial search, 4120 scientific articles were identified, of which 215 were screened that included the variable social interaction skills in students in title or abstract, based on application of inclusion and exclusion criteria, 11 scientific publications were meta-analyzed. Most of studies were published between 2016 and 2022, majority (72.72 %) between the years 2020-2022, published mostly in Peru (36.36 %) and Ecuador (18.18 %), with a total of 3184 individuals analyzed, who belonged mainly to the university sector (54.54 %), Secondary (27.27 %) and Primary (18.18 %). All studies were developed in public institutions. Most of articles were published in journals indexed in Scopus database (54.54 %), 27.27% in Scielo and a smaller proportion (18.18 %) in Web of Sciences.
