TEXT, COMPREHENSION AND INTERPRETATION OF THE TEXT

Presented theoretical study deals with problems of text, its understanding and interpretation. These basic terms are characterized from different points of view and we point out its function that represents important role during development of reader's literacy. When defining the understanding of a text we aim at the all-round understanding, different kinds of text and understanding of literary texts. We also study text interpretation, which is an essential requirement for work with text and it is one of the tools used for uncovering of understanding.
