摘要
It is shown that a real, symmetrical and off diagonal interaction among a set of N resonances leads to an average level repulsion if the resonances are sufficiently narrow as compared to the interaction strength. The result is a generalization of the level repulsion theorem from two bound states to N narrow resonances. A physical example is found in the neutron resonances in Cr-53.
