摘要
This study drew aimed at analyzing the performance of the public health system of the municipalities in the Brazilian regions. For this, we carried out descriptive research conducted through document analysis and quantitative analysis of data on a sample of 5.563 municipalities in all five Brazilian regions. To analyze the performance of the public health system were verified 24 indicators, with data collected on the website of the Ministry of Health The results showed that the municipalities of the South and Southeast regions stand out positively with the best performance and the North highlighted negatively. Overall, it was concluded that some indicators had indices below expectations in several counties and therefore require special care and attention, especially in the cities of the North. At the end, it was concluded that the performance of the NHS is still quite uneven throughout the Brazilian territory and needs improvement for perennials that have leveraged their numbers positively, and legally throughout the Brazilian territory.
