摘要
In this paper an analysis of electromagnetic field, power-losses and force in the MHD generator with flat structure of inductor is presented. The computational model, based on Fourier series technique, takes into account higher-time harmonics in supply current, the finite length and width of inductor winding and nonuniform velocity distribution along the liquid metal depth. The calculations of magnetic flux density, electromagnetic force and power losses distribution in liquid zinc have been carried out for induction pump fed by nonsinusoidal and sinusoidal current. © 1990 Springer-Verlag.
