摘要：
The progress made by Toyota's North American manufacturing facility in Kentucky ('TMM') is shown by its twice having received the J.D. Power top quality award as the best quality plant in all of North America. It is estimated that the plant has also brought 20,000 jobs to the area. While in the early years Japanese manufacturers were learning from their U.S. counterparts, Toyota has reversed the technology transfer. It has increased its procurements from American suppliers and is helping the local community absorb the impact of the growth.
