A NEW METHOD OF DISEQUILIBRIUM ANALYSIS - THE THEORY OF A NON-WALRASIAN EQUILIBRIUM

During a relatively long period of time (up to the beginning of the 70s) macroeconomics were a relatively unified sphere of scientific study. After a strong doubt expressed about the Keynesian neoclasical synthesis (IS-LM Model) the work of macroeconomists is forked into two new schools. One of them creates the theory of a Non-War-lasian equilibrium to the presentation of which the paper presented is devoted. The author concentrates upon placing the theory into the framework of the existing economic theories. Its relation to the Keynesian economic theory is defined together with its differentation from the Warlas' theory. The analysis presented logically leads to the need of a new notional instruments definition. In the conclusion of the paper the author describes the Dreze and Benassy model both of which are taken for basic disequilibrium models out of the inexhaustible number of them.
