摘要：
On the basis of written and archaeological sources the problem of mutual influence of settled and nomadic population of Eastern Europe in the sphere of military affairs are examined in this article. Borrowings in armament and military art of nomads and Byzantium are analyzed. It is demonstrated how weapon of settled peoples changed under the influence of the threat from the nomads. New kinds of arms, tactical and strategic techniques that medieval nomads of Eastern Europe began to employ during storms and sieges of towns are revealed.
