摘要
The effect of the neglected off-diagonal coupled terms in the centrifugal sudden (CS) approximate Hamiltonian of an atom-molecule scattering system on the scattering results is considered. Corrections to the centrifugal sudden wave packet (CSWP) approximation developed by Kouri et al. are completed by introducing the corrected operator W into the coupled channel Schrodinger equation and expanding the exact scattering wave function in che Lippmann-Schwinger (L-S) equation in terms of the CSWP wave function. The corrected CSWP approximation not only has higher accuracy, but also can calculate atom-molecule low energy scattering and atom-heteronuclear diatomic molecule scattering.
