Trichogramma maidis Pintureau & Voegele, T. rhenana Voegele & Russo and T. evanescens sensu Pintureau & Voegele are three closely related species, designated by different authors as T. evanescens. Using stepwise discriminant analysis were found 14 morphological characters in the females, enable to separate these three species. The analysis of the type of T. evanescens show that T. evanescens Westwood and T. rhenana are identical ( with probability a posteriori = 99.9% ). Synonyms of the three species are given.
