摘要
The results of modelling in earlier work by the authors are extended to the more general case of non-steady state turbulent flow of metal in a travelling electromagnetic field. The nature of transient hydrodynamic processes in the ladle of an ASEA-SKF secondary refining and degassing unit has been studied. Ferroalloy assimilation has been examined. On the whole, the model satisfactorily describes the process of turbulent flow and can be used in automatic control systems for the secondary treatment of steel.
