摘要：
Predictions from computer simulations for automobile development are increasingly important. Besides theory and experimental testing the relatively new discipline of computer simulation is becoming better established. The state of the art is demonstrated by a number of examples and new applications are possible due to powerful supercomputers. The testing of prototypes ensures the achievement of development goals if results of computer simulations are evaluated in the early phases of product development. © 1990.
