摘要：
Kinetochores oscillate to and fro on the mitotic spindle. The oscillations seem to be biased by the forces acting on the kinetochore, explaining the variety of chromosome movements seen at different stages of mitosis. © 1994 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
