摘要：
German Idealism and German Romanticism utilize the essence of the concept of freedom from the French Revolution. This very reflection leads artists to rethink art, myth, nature, the Middle Ages and the presence of the dream in the artist's creative act. Goethe, a source of inspiration for these artists and thinkers, shares some of his postulates, differentiates them from others and formulates a new concept of symbol.
