摘要
The work is part of a scientific research project that develops between the University of Cienfuegos, Cuba and Ecuador Metropolitan University, related to university quality and from both universities preparing for assessment processes and acreditation. It is presented a rating of theory and practice in this direction by considering the transformations that effect emerge from the current social historical needs. In the same emphasis is on four indicators that guarantee higher levels of university quality and they are: the quality of income, initial and ongoing training of professionals, development of human resources and the social impact, the latter to consider the transformative effect of the university.
