We propose a spin-charge separation scheme based on the t - J model. Such a spin-charge separation state can reproduce various 1D correlations at strong-coupling fixed-point. At 2D half-filling, a long-range AF order is recovered, and a spin-charge deconfinement is found at finite doping in 2D. In this spin-charge separation regime, anomalous magnetic and transport properties are obtained. We find interesting similarities of these anomalies to those found in high-T-c cuprates.
