摘要
One of the objectives of the International Space Station(ISS) is to introduce impressions that human beings have never experienced and expand the wisdom of human beings by exploring the space environment. JAXA is conducting wide variety of utilization of Kibo, Japans ISS Module and one of unique feature is utilization for culture/humanities and social science. JAXA is conducting culture/humanities and social science mission to make new discoveries through artistic expression in the space environment, such as micro-gravity, in addition to scientific and engineering experiments. This will help pursue the development of global citizenry, expanding the future of mankind, and creating new values through cultural/humanistic trials using Kibo. In this paper, we will introduce the JAXA's culture/humanities and social science missions.
