摘要：

In this paper the formula for the joint distribution of D(mu,n)+, the one-sided maximum positive deviation and Q(mu,n), the number of times D(mu,n)+ is achieved in a generalized random walk with steps +1 and -mu derived by Mohanty and Handa (1970) by using extended Dwass technique (1967) has been corrected.
