摘要：
A method of information analysis and an example of its application to power distribution networks are described. Starting from the specified system functions, the analysis leads to a neutral, computer-independent, formal description of the information-bearing elements to be handled by the information system as well as the rules by which they are governed. The method forces the system designer to adopt a systematic approach. It can moreover be used for documenting the performance and contents of information systems.
