CHANGES IN MAGNETOOPTICAL SPECTRA DUE TO THE DISORDER-ORDER TRANSITION IN NI75FE25 AND FE50CO50 THIN-FILMS

摘要
The magneto-optical spectra (sigma(xx) and omega sigma(xx) in the photon energy range 1.2-4.6 eV) of Fe50Co50 thin films are enhanced by the disorder-order transition, while those of Ni75Fe25 thin film are reduced by the transition. We compared the experimental results with the joint density of states for each ordered and disordered state. The changes in the omega sigma(xy)(n) spectra through the disorder-order transition were found to be roughly in agreement with the differences of the joint density of states between up and down spin states for each state.
