摘要：
A systematic experimental study has been made to investigate interaction between small nylon spheres and water freezing with a planar interface moving upwards. Experimental data are extended into a range of conditions (sphere size ranging from 0.1 cm to 1 cm) which was previously not studied. Also other effects (sphere roughness, wettability, impurities, bubble nucleation) are considered.
