COORDINATION-COMPOUNDS OF PLATINUM(II) AND PALLADIUM(II) WITH PYRAZOLE AS A LIGAND - NEW SYNTHETIC PROCEDURES AND CHARACTERIZATION

摘要
The synthesis and characterization of a number of new coordination compounds of Pt**I**I and Pd**I**I with the nitrogen donor ligand pyrazole (PzH) is described. These compounds are cis-Pt(PzH)//2X//2, trans-Pt(PzH)//2X//2, Pt(PzH)//4X//2 multiplied by (times) n H//2O (n equals 0 or 1), Pd(PzH)//4X//2 and Pt(PzH)//4PtCl//4 where X equals Cl, Br and I. cis-Pd(PzH)//2X//2 compounds could not be obtained; trans-Pd(PzH)//2X//2 compounds seem to exist in more than one crystal form. The new compounds were characterized by chemical analyses, x-ray powder diffraction, i. r. and far-i. r. and by **1H n. m. r. spectroscopy. The metal(II) ions are in all cases coordinated in a square planar geometry.
