Residues in eggs and poultry meat from unwanted substances in feedstuffs - Heavy metals and organochlorine compounds

摘要：
Feedstuffs and poultry products are contaminated to a low degree in Germany with the heavy metals lead, mercury and cadmium. Contamination with persistent organochlorine rine compounds including the PCBs is also loa. 12 of the 13 priority contaminants of global concern of the GEMS list established by UNEP/FAO/WHO were considered. The burden by poultry products contaminated with the mentioned heavy metals and PCBs amounts at the maximum 2% of the total human body burden.
