KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT-BASED AGRICULTURAL COOPERATION POLICY IN LITHUANIA

This article explores the possibilities to develop Lithuanian co-operation movement and it's impact on the development of National economy. The article discusses how principles of knowedge management are used for supporting co-operation movement at the national level. The framework with 6 dimensions - the generation, diffusion and economic exploitation of knowledge, internal and external effects - is used to identify the gaps in our understanding concerning obstacles of co-operation movement development existing. The recommendations on Government actions possible to affect cooperatives ability to the generation, diffusion and economic exploitation of knowledge for future are suggested including assessment of internal and external effects of the co-operation policy measures.
