POLYMER PROTECTIVE COATINGS - THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN COATING POROSITY AND THE WETTED METAL AREA

摘要：
It is shown that two different quantities can be evaluated from impedance measurements for polymer protective coatings on metals. At high frequencies information can be obtained on the porosity of the coating, whereas at low frequencies the wetted area of metal below the coating can be calculated from the impedance response.
