Context in science education: analysis of the context in teaching of physics

This paper presents an approach to the state of art on research in science education related to the role of context in the teaching of science and particularly physics. An analysis visions context is presented in the teaching of science in general, where construction on the concept of context and the different forms it takes place as introduced in science education, are presented an analysis is performed construction conceptual context within the cultural and context discussed in physics education from some epistemological positions and practices, finally some reflections seeking to collect relevant points and propose possible areas of future work are presented.
