MULTIDIMENSIONAL MOLECULAR-METALS WITH PI-ACCEPTOR M(DMIT)2 AND ANALOGOUS MOLECULES

摘要
Crystal and electronic structures and resistivity of a new molecular metal C7H16N[Ni(dmit)2]2 were examined. Ni(dmit)2 molecules are arranged to form metal layers, with taking the "spanning overlapping mode". Extended Huckel band structure gave two-dimensional Fermi surface. The system is metallic at least down to 1.5 K. The synthesis of dmis (bis(2-selenone-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dithiolato)) ligand and the electrochemical data of Ni(dmis)2 are also reported.
