摘要：
The article first discusses the position of Roman Catholic parishes as they are regulated by the Code of Canon Law and laws of the Czech Republic. In the second part of the article, the author strives to apply the rules to the situation in the Litomerice Diocese. He explains the historical circumstances, describes the current state of parish administration, and suggests possible solutions for the difficult situation in West Bohemia. Finally, the article reflects on the parish administration reform in the Litomerice Diocese while considering the experiences from the process of reconstruction of parishes in the Prague Diocese.
