INVESTIGATION OF THE ZERO-FIELD SPLITTING FOR FE3+ IN TETRAGONAL PHASE OF SRTIO3 CRYSTAL

摘要
A simple relation between the zero-field splitting D in tetragonal phase and the spin-lattice coupling coefficient G(11) in cubic phase for d(n) ions in crystals of perovskite structure has been established by introducing a release factor k. By virtue of this relation, the zero-held splittings of Fe3+ in tetragonal phase of SrTiO3 crystal are calculated. The results show reasonable agreement with the experimental findings.
