Specificity of Female Deviancy in Tsaritsyn at the end of the XIX century - early XX century

The topic of the article is analysis of the nature and structure of the female deviancy in the town of Tsaritsyn at the end of 19th century - early 20th century. There was investigated the system and types of female deviant behavior. The work also discusses the theoretical basis of the problem of the influence of economic stability on the species structure of deviant and delinquent behavior of women. Based on the analysis of the materials of local archives, authors made. a collective portrait. of female criminal in Tsaritsyn at the end of 19th century - early 20th century, also defined the main reasons and structure of female crimes. We studied the main factors of the deviant behavior of women in the period of economic transformation of society, and come to the conclusion that the processes of industrialization, urbanization, changing economic structure has had significantly less impact than originally anticipated. This is probably due to the fact that these processes at the initial stage of its development has not yet led to a significant change of the traditional role of women in the structure of society, including to the mass of the active inclusion of women in these socio-economic processes.
