HISTORIOGRAPHICAL BALANCE. The historiography and the centenary of the Russian Revolution

This paper examines the publications about the Russian Revolution of 1917 that appeared in the year of the centenary, emphasizing those that we consider most relevant. The focus is on the original contribution of the Spanish authors without an exhaustive exploration of everything published during this year. One of the most characteristic features of the extensive production in our country on the subject has been the attempt to investigate the 1917 Revolution in order to find explanatory guidelines that explain and guide current political action.
