GEODESIC LINES IN THE HOMOGENEOUS GODEL-TYPE UNIVERSE

摘要
The most general solution of the geodesic equation in the presence of the homogeneous Godel-type space-times is obtained under some natural initial conditions. The behaviour of the particle is discussed. It is shown that the trajectory of a free particle in the general homogeneous Godel-type universes is indetermined. Nevertheless, it is determined in individual space-times of this type. It is obtainable in the original Godel universe. ln singular (universes with vanishing pressure matter content) homogeneous space-times of the Godel-type, it is shown that the trajectory of a free particle is linear (in a comoving-coordinates system) and absolute present is observable at infinity of the time marker.
