NUCLEAR-FUSION RESEARCH IN JAPANESE UNIVERSITIES SUPPORTED BY MONBUSHO - OVERVIEW

Nuclear fusion research conducted by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Culture (Monbusho) encompasses creative and pioneering research vigorously carried out in universities. This fusion research is reviewed by the Science Council, as this research is performed according to its guidelines. The Science Council is an advisory body under Monbusho. It is responsible for the review and discussion of science-related topics and makes related recommendations. The present organization is presented, and its activities highlighted.
